Meet Ashunta Sheriff-Kendricks

Ashunta has nearly 25 years of experience being a makeup artist and creating her own signature beauty technique, which was shaped by learning from extremely influential teachers (known today as popular beauty industry leaders).

She began her career working with music R&B legends and today she’s proud to be working with some major stars and celebs! Ashunta’s less is more makeup approach keeps her clients looking fresh, vibrant and youthful and she calls this look the Ashunta "Glow."

Tell us a little bit about yourself!

My name is Ashunta Sheriff-Kendricks and I have been a professional makeup artist for over 26 years.

What kind of look do you usually love to rock?

I usually like to rock a polished, natural and soft glow beauty look, personally. I feel as I’m getting older less is more.

What’s your self-care routine?

My self-care routine includes monthly facials, massages, nail art and pedicures. This is a monthly ritual for me. I take a Sunday and just focus on me because in my daily life - whether it’s on set or at home - I’m always caring for others. I’m also a big believer in sound therapy - I love singing bowls and listening to MHZ sounds to shift my chi.

What was your reaction the first time you used LUMIFY redness reliever eye drops?

My first reaction was shock! My brother in beauty, a celebrity hair stylist, put me onto Lumify eye drops several years ago. They were better than any drops I ever used to reduce redness and help give the eyes that sparkle needed for my high profile, A-list clients.
