Joseph Carrillo is a professional makeup artist based in New York City. Born and Raised in El Paso, Texas, he was inspired by his mom’s very own smokey eye and beauty routine, until his big break when he moved to Manhattan. With 18 years of experience under his belt, Joseph has worked with major brands and celebrities, and his work has also been featured in some of the top publications in the U.S. One day, he dreams of owning a Mexican style Hacienda, somewhere in the tropics, but for now he enjoys the outdoors, nature, and karaoke!

Tell us a little bit about yourself!

I’m a high fashion, celebrity and editorial makeup artist based in NYC. I was raised in El Paso, Texas, but moved to the big apple 10 years ago and the rest is history.

What kind of look do you usually love to rock?

Anything black is my style. I only wear black because it’s chic and sexy (and slimming let’s be real).

What’s your self-care routine?

I wash my face morning and night. I cleanse, tone, moisturize and seal with a nice face oil. Honey needs to look young forever.

What was your reaction the first time you used LUMIFY redness reliever eye drops?
